This is not ideal if Local System is used to run the installation, as is often the case with mass deployment tools. This forces the representative console to install in the same context that is being used to run the MSI installation. ALLUSERS=“” results in a single user install. Because 1 is the default, there should never be a need to use this explicitly. I'll let you all know if that works.ĪLLUSERS= accepts “” (default) or 1. Sounds like the MSI only installs at the user level but the EXE can install for AllUsers. I'm not sure why this seemed to have changed but I think my plan will be user the MSI to create the deployment type, then change the content to the EXE and change the install string.
